Series Italia 2007 Genuine Buddy

Today's post is dedicated to the Series Italia. What's the difference between the Italia and the standard '07 Buddy? The Italia has "white wall tires, dark green seat, gray grips, and an eye-catching two-tone paint scheme that will make you dream of scooting in Tuscany." (Buddy Italia! website). What a sweet scoot!

Have you visited the Frederick, 'Fun On Wheels" yet? I called the Coleman Powersports dealer in Fall Church VA and they HAVE A RED ONE IN STOCK!!! I get the feeling that they are an OK place to deal with but, as I also near Frederick, MD (Bethesda). If Fun On Wheels, was the ticket I could hop up there as well.

Let me know if you talk to them and how they are to deal with. I am right there with you.

Thanks

I have been over to Fun On Wheels and have met Tim (I believe he is the owner). He's a great guy. His shop is immaculate. From the looks of the store itself, he runs a well organized operation, which is a good sign. Unfortunately, they do not have any of the 125cc Buddy's in stock.

He confirmed that he can order the scoot individually for customers as needed.

Apparently, he sells 50cc scoots more than any other scoot because of Maryland residents desire to avoid licensing and insurance regulations.

Therefore, he does not normally stock many of the 125cc and higher scoots.

If he gets any of the new 125cc Buddy's in the showroom, I'll have him notify me and post it on my blog.

If there are enough Mayland folks interested in the Buddy 125cc though, I'm sure he'll stock them.

I'll let him know about my blog and maybe he will be willing to post updates directly.

The Italia is so cool looking, if I were buying a Buddy, that would be my choice.
